The Marangu Route, often known as the "Coca-Cola" route, is a classic ascent of Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the most well-known and conventional path. Many people prefer the Marangu path as the easiest method to climb the mountain because of its more mild grade. It is also the only route with sleeping huts in the style of a dorm. Although the typical Marangu Route may also be finished in five days, summit success rates are increased by including an additional acclimatization day. This additional day, usually spent at Horombo Hut, is essential for acclimating to the altitude and greatly increases the chances of surviving altitude sickness at the summit. Because it offers a well-rounded, cozy, and picturesque climb of Kilimanjaro, the 6-day Marangu Route is a well-liked option for first-time climbers. The acclimatization day is a vital asset, adding flexibility and a better chance of reaching Uhuru Peak.
